Well, well, I gained my five lbs back plus a pound so I guess those brownies were not good for me.

Back to watching better what I eat. Hope everyone has a great day.

It's ok Jacqueline, it was your birthday. Just get back on track and drink a lot of water for the next few days and hopefully the brownie weight won't stick. That's what I'm telling myself this morning anyway! I did just fine all day yesterday until after dinner and then... I don't know what happened. icon_confused.gif I just ate the wrong stuff and too much of it. {sigh} Oh well, at least that doesn't happen too often. And today is a new beginning.

Jacqueline, if you asked any dieter if they ever fall of the track, and they answer honestly most would agree they had fallen off the track. The most important part is they get back on track again.

Alisa Lee, don't worry about what you ate after dinner. It's sometimes okay to not be so careful.

I am not doing too well today. We are in for a gigantic rain storm today and some tomorrow. My body is feeling it plus a very stuffy nose and bad sore throat. I am going to take it easy because tomorrow we are spending all afternoon at the theatre watching them rehearse after we eat lunch. After lunch we walk 3 blocks to the theatre.

Back on the treadmill today. I couldn't go the full 45 minutes - likely due to the month long lay off. icon_smile.gif It's a start and feels good to be back in some sort of routine. 7 lb loss since early February. icon_cool.gif

K9 Owned, that's fantastic that you lost 7 pounds!! You will be up to your 45 minutes time very soon.

We are changing our diet and it is interesting. We received the 22 frozen meals for me and they are generally good tasting. When I find one I don't like Tom finishes it and gives me something else. These meals come with beverages, rolls and dessert. The desserts are pretty much cookies. Today's exercise will be walking from the restaurant to the playhouse plus sitting in the playhouse for about 4 hours.

I haven't exercised yet. I got side tracked doing my bead work, since I have a time limit on it. I don't want to put off doing it and it taking me another 20 years to get it done. Should I fess up what has taken me 20 years to finish? icon_lol.gif icon_redface.gif icon_eek.gif

I started making my sister a toy bunny back when I was in high school sewing class. It was the 4th one I was making and I kinda got tired of making them. All I have to do is sew on the eyes and embroider the mouth and nose. I still have it with me after all these years, just never got around to finishing it. I picked up new buttons for the eyes and I have the embroidery thread, now just gotta do it.

The upside is I am almost done. I think I spent around 12 hours on it already.

Just dropping in so you all know I am around. I have a virus and will post more later. This is starting my third day of it and I don't do much but sleep and run to the bathroom.

K9, way to go on the weight loss.

Laury, sounds like you and Tom have the food all worked out. Enjoy the
    playhouse.

tasb, good luck finishing the bunny. Maybe I should finish the Christmas
stocking I started when I was pregnant with my now 31-year-old! icon_rolleyes.gif

Jacqueline, hope you are feeling better.

tasb, how are you doing on your bead work? Have you finished the bunny?

Jacqueline, I hope that you are feeling a lot better today.

I finished all 3 of my walks Saturday and Sunday. I have 1 more to do today. Tomorrow and Wednesday I rest up for the play preview on Wednesday night. Then Thursday I have a mammogram. This year I have asked for it to be read while I am there so I don't have to come back. My sister and I do this together. She hated calling for an appointment which I consider very easy to do. She has no problems driving so she provides the ride and I get back to back appointments. It works for us!!

Hope you feel better soon Jacqueline.

I seem to have lost about 50% of my appetite recently. Maybe because I haven't had time to cook the way I like to. Whatever...it works for now. I'm craving main meal salads.....if our weather ever gets warm that is.

I'll check back later this week,

    Stay (or get) healthy folks!

Jacqueline, I hope you have called your doctor about your stomach problems. Normally I wait and take what she recommends when something happens with my stomach. She recommends Imdium. If I still have problems after 2 days I call her.

K9 Owned, I know that we do salads often during the summer. It works for us with the heat and humidity we get.

Now that I receive 10 meals delivered every 2 weeks and Tom buys frozen dinners, things are much easier. These meals contain main dish, veggies, rolls, beverages and desserts. It does make things much easier for us at dinner time. I actually can cook my own dinner but then Tom has to remove the cover so I don't get too much steam. Lunches are often salad and breakfast is easy. It does help. The meals I don't like, I give to Tom and make sure not to order it again.

Laury, No I have not bothered the doctor with this, everyone in the community has had it and it just has to run its course. I did buy some Imodium and took it but our doctor is so busy that I try not to bother him with minor problems.

Things seem to be looking up today. I feel much better but still kind of weak. I just don't understand how I could have been this sick and not lost weight. I did the first two days then when I got to where I could keep crackers down I ate them and now am back to my old weight. GRRRRR if I am going to have to be sick it should be good for something.

Hey everyone, feeling much better here, almost like a new person. Went to my shoulder doctor today and have one more month of PT, but it was my choice, he thinks I am advanced enough that I could do it on my own, but I chose the PT.

It is a beautiful day here in the mountains of KY today. While in Pikeville there was one thermometer that said 90 degrees, at the time the car said 88 so I guess it was close. Seems too early to be this hot and we still haven't had Red Bud, Dogwood or Blackberry winter yet. I did break down last night and turn on my A/C. I hate to go right from heat to air, esp. when you know you will have to go back to heat again.

Hope everyone is doing OK, miss you all checking in.
