I'll be in a chocolate swap even though I rarely eat it but the DS and the DH will enjoy and I'll let the DM have a little as a treat though if I let her she would eat the lot, she is so in denial about her diabeties.

I love chocolate and coffee, but can live without both.
Hope no one holds this against me!

Oh no scotch/irish coffee and chocolate sound perfedt to me - do occassionally indulge in this treat though quite often pay for it the next day when the IBS kicks in unless I choose my times very very carefully and then not always successful

I'll be back to play when I get back home to NJ. Currently traveling due to a family emergency. My MIL was traveling to AZ with my SIL and her DH. MIL fell and injured her back and can't fly home so since SIL and her DH need to get home for their job, they needed my DH and I to go get MIL by our RV. We left this morning driving. We left NJ at 6:00 am and we arrived in Tennessee at 6:30 about 600 miles. We need to get to Tucson, AZ by Friday. Since I am self employed, I am able to make this trip and DH is retired. I have no idea when I will return as MIL is still in the hospital and we don't know when she will get out. Wish us luck as we need it. LOL!

Tisme I think chocolate swap can be left till end of February to mid March without too many problems after all the supermarkets are already dispalying hot cross buns, the easter bunn and easter eggs so go figure.

sorry I haven't been round, but after a fire in the warrnambool telstra exchange, my connection has been super slow or doesn't work at all. It's ok right now because people must be BBQing on Australia day so internet is not so busy!
We just had food.com member awalde and her daughter here from switzerland. they were so much fun and we wished they could have stayed longer than 3 nights but they had to move on and will arrive soon at Peggy and John's. She and I have been talking about her coming to australia for 2 1/2 yearsso it was great to finally meet her.
tomorrow russ and I are off to vietnam for a month, then it's back to cooking for me!
