    Wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas

The photo is my two daughters Holly (8 almost 9) and Nadene (16) visiting Santa with their wishlists. They were both very happy this morning with their gifts

My parents arrived at 5.30am- just in time for opening presents. My husband Phil cooked barbie breakfast - his specialty "McPhil" burgers that are really toasted English muffins with eggs, bacon and either tomato or BBQ sauce. We also enjoyed a great big fruit platter with yogurt.

For Christmas lunch we have a turkey in the oven with roast veges, to be followed by gluten-free Christmas plum pudding and custard. . . . . .I'm still very full from breakfast though icon_lol.gif

Hope everyone has a very merry Christmas

Thanks so much Julie, my the girls have grown, the last time I saw a picture of Nadine she was blonde! and Holly is growing really fast. your Christmas.

We spent Christmas with our youngest daughter Anne and her family in Darwin, they have just moved thereā€¦the weather was a bit trying as its so humid t this time of the year so we had a butterflied leg of lamb barbecued for Christmas day meal with loads of salads and ice cold fruit salad as well

wave.gif Hi Joy- sounds like a great Christmas with lots of family .

Our weather was much cooler. We had a baked dinner (lunchtime) with chicken, turkey and baked veges (potato, sweet potato, carrot and pumpkin).
Gravy, cranberry sauce and topped it all of with Christmas pudding and custard. Christmas lunch has always been a baked meal for me - ever since I was a child. It's hard to break with tradition.

Nadene had her hair cut and coloured for her graduation formal. She does look different with the dark hair. Holly has just had her 9th birthday on NY's day. It seems not so long ago that they were both babies

It was about 35 degrees - not that bad but the humidity was up into the 90's, we always go traditional but did not have much input icon_smile.gif Glad to see that your mum and dad were there for present opening time!
