I want to make an English Muffin Bread recipes

most of the recipes are the same re the ingredients and most suggest oil spraying the pans then dust bottoms and sides of the pan with cornmeal...

    have run out of cornmeal...

    Can I use polenta?

If not, there must be something else I can use? Not a baker icon_smile.gif

    In Advance,....thank you!

    UPDATE Polenta IS cornmeal

Polenta is coarse cornmeal used both as an ingredient and to dust under hearth breads. Read more about non-wheat flours.
