    Pineapple Upside Down Cake?

    Hi!

DH is hungry for a pineapple upside down cake...

Looking for a really easy, but made-from-scratch recipe for a 9x13" pan cuz I don't have any other size on hand right now - prepping for a move! icon_sad.gif

Please, no exotic or obscure ingredients, just simple stuff we all usually have in our pantries: Flour, egg, butter, milk, vanilla, baking soda/powder, etc...

**Note: I don't have any boxed cake mixes on hand**

Anyone out there have a good and simple recipe answer to this request?

Or perhaps another recipe I could adapt to make this work as a pineapple upside down cake?

    Sure would appreciate it!

    Thanks!

Thank you so much for the recipe! I have all the ingredients and my butter is coming to room temp right now...

I'll let you know how it turns out! icon_biggrin.gif

Great - I hope that cake mix sub is good, as I rarely have the ready made ones around - and i don't like the preservatives, etc.
