Go to the blue box just to the right of your icon/picture. Hover your cursor over it. When the box opens, you will see My Settings at the top right. Click that. You will be able to correct your email address in that box. Once you correct it, click Save to make sure the change is entered.

Perfect many thanks for your help, though as you noticed, I did eventually find a way to correct my profile, but still did not get the email!
But now I don't need it! Thanks again.
I have I think found the reason for the problem your editor does not allow the underscore to be keyed in as part of an email address, it automatically substitutes a hyphen, but gives no warning of the change......bad news. The hyphen should be allowed.
I can only log in by copying my email address and pasting it.....
I find that not allowing the hyphen to be a problem that must be easily fixed by admin.
regards
Andy
PS. Great recipes......

We do allow the underscore to be keyed in as part of an email address. Where does it automatically substitute a hyphen and we will be happy to look into?

When initially joining, I keyed an underscore and got a hyphen. I tried it eventually many times, all the same results. I copied and pasted my address eventually.....
I don't think it is my computer......I used a text editor to type my address in and copied that, so there should be no difference I feel, but I am not 100% sure, maybe someone else could test it?

Regrettably, I am not experiencing. What browser and version were you using and we will be happy to troubleshoot further?

I've looked up your account and we have you posted, enabled and confirmed under
andy_germany@alice.de. Please try logging in again and make sure you do not hit the hyphen button, please make sure you do SHIFT and then the hyphen button to get your underscore to show up. We hope that helps!

Thanks again.
Even if that does not help, I now know the way round the problem, so no need for further help. Also I use automatic logon from my browser as well!!!
Happy new year.
