    Topping for cheesecake?

    I am looking for ideas to top individual cheesecakes (mini muffin size.) No chocolate, there will be enough of that on the dessert table. The fruit toppings are good, but they are rather gooey, and I would like for the leftovers to be transportable by others (I'm NOT taking these home!) icon_smile.gif

    So, suggestions?

    How about a single fresh berry or wedge of sliced kiwi or half of a fat seedless grape?

    I had a cheesecake yesterday that was topped with just a few fresh berries - it was really nice and it would work well with the minis.

    You could top the individual cheesecakes with a bit of Brandied Cranberries With Walnuts ~ Since Thanksgiving, I've eaten two batches over vanilla ice cream!

    I'm liking the fresh fruit idea. Perhaps I could take out a loan and buy a pint of raspberries. That would pretty on the minis, if I can find nice luscious ones. Maybe a raspberry and a blueberry on each one. icon_idea.gif

    nutter butter crumbles (cookie)

    mango slices

    kiwi slices

    Melted choc squeezed into criss cross design or just some 'sqiggles'

    Mmmm. But that goes back to being gooey. They'll probably get stuffed in a zippie bag to go home with others, so that might be a little messy.

    Wow, lots of great ideas! Thanks for all the extra effort!

    For some that going to friends on Christmas Eve, I'm thinking lemon curd topped with a raspberry. That would be pretty. I made them today, for the freezer. They're pretty small, one berry will be enough.

    For the rest, well, I don't know. My DH's family members don't exactly have refined palates. I mean, the other thing I have to make is the layered dessert with graham crackers, chocolate pudding and Cool Whip. icon_lol.gif
