    Hello and Merry Christmas

I am looking for a tomato bread recipe similar to Panara Bread. The bread is moist, sweet and extremely tasty. Looking forward to hearing from you

I have never had Panera's tomato bread, so I cannot suggest which of the 70 recipes from our database would be the closest. icon_confused.gif

    Thank you Dee514

I had researched several sites for the tomato bread and could not come up with one to try. I was hoping someone had one...but I think I will give one a try and go from there.

Thanks for the links, I will give them a look and give one a try!!

This is the description of the recipe according to their menu:

Our original sourdough bread with tomatoes, basil & sweet streusel topping. Available in Loaf.

And here are these similar or copycat recipes to the Panera Bread:

This is exactly the same recipe as above, with the same ingredients but with a sweet streusel topping added:

"I added the topping, omitted crushed red pepper flakes, and swapped canned san marzano diced tomatoes for the tomato paste. Result?! Probably the best bread I've ever made...and I have made bread many times! icon_smile.gif This is definitely going to be a new staple in our family!".

Ingredients for Brown Sugar Struesel Topping
    1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup flour (I probably used a little less than that)
    3 Tbsp cold butter
