I posted this elsewhere - I'm new to this site.
but figured I would try here as well....

Maybe this is crazy idea - wondered what all of you that have made/served jello shots might think.

Have you ever made jello shots recipe for a party --- but instead of all of those individual servings...what if it was made just like a regular bowl of jello?

Maybe even serve with whipped cream available.

Offer very small bowls or cups for individuals to have a spoon or 2 with whipped creme on top. Is there any reason it couldn't be served like that?

Just wondered if maybe there was reason jello with alcohol seems to only come in shot version.

    Thoughts anyone??

Not only is this a duplicate question, you cut-and-pasted your own question. Have a little patience!

We have made it in a 8X8 glass dish and cut it into squares. It gets messy if you are using your fingers and you would have to have a lot of spoons b/c you don't want people double dipping with their spoon. #1 b/c it spreads germs and #2 the residue from their saliva on the spoon will cause the jello to "melt". I think jello with alcohol is done as shots b/c it's supposed to be a "shot" and you generally do shots from a shot glass. It's also much less messy and more sanitary. So to answer your question, yes it is possible to do it.
