Everyone has a favorite Cheeseball recipe, and everyone makes the best! It's most likely true too! Talk about a recipe that has variations-there really is something for everyone.

There's Bacon-Cheddar Cheese Ball if bacon is your thing. Olive and Cheddar Cheese Ball if your an olive head. If smoked is your thing Smoked-Cheddar Cheese Ball & Smokey Salmon Cheddar Cheese Ball both look good.

Cheese Ball With Everything, Classic Cheddar Cheese Ball, Thanksgiving Cheese Ball, Amy's Beer & Ranch Cheese Ball, Hidden Valley Ranch Cheese Ball, Aunt Annie's Cheese Ball, Chipped Beef Cheese Ball..........

Some have walnuts, pecans or almonds, some have wine, some herby. All of them are yummy! So what's your favorite or most requested cheese ball recipe?

Since I only have half a family that can/will eat cheese, and half of the "good" half has moved out, I don't use a lot of cheese. I really miss the cheese balls and cheesy fondue I enjoyed in my childhood.
However, DH will eat cream cheese, so about 10 years ago I found a recipe for a chocolate cheese ball and started making it for camping trips. OMGoodness! That recipe became an immediate camping staple. I've made it in several different variations over the years, with almond extract, maraschino cherry juice, rolled in pecans, and most recently I skipped the pecans due to a nut allergy, and rolled it in more mini chocolate chips. I do have to say it was too much chocolate for me, and I really missed the pecans, but I wasn't making a 6 year old miss out on any fun. icon_wink.gif
It's very addicting, either way and I suggest not using regular graham crackers, but the Graham Stix that are on the market these days. They hold up well while scooping the cheese ball.

Three-Cheese Ball by breezermom ~ makes two large balls - the toasted sesame seeds sets it over the top!

Rosalynn Carter's Cheese Ring ~ I make into two logs! They freeze too! It's a must to serve with strawberry preserves!

The sesame seeds sold me! I'm gonna have to make a little bitty one just for myself. Can't wait for other cheese eaters to visit! icon_lol.gif

I saved the Rosalyn Carter one too.
Jimmy Carter was voted into office when I was 10. My mom or dad told my sister and I at dinner one night that the President had a favorite homemade mac & cheese recipe.
I wrote a letter to the President and we got a letter back with the recipe. My mom made it for us for years. Probably only quit cause we girls grew up and moved out. icon_smile.gif
