    Uploading photo to recipe

I tried to upload a couple of photos tonight and received a note saying that I would be notified when they were approved.

Normally, my pics upload automatically. I have not deleted any photos and have not been notified of any problems, so I was just wondering what the problem might be.

    Thanks,

    Nancy

PS I went back through my reviews and none of the pictures I posted have been or were ever deleted by me -- they are still attached to the recipes I reviewed. Hope this problem can be remedied without me being on some sort of restriction.

****I did notice one thing -- a photo of Blueberry Cookie Tart shows that it was just uploaded 4 days ago which is incorrect. I uploaded that picture weeks ago. Could this be the problem??? The picture uploaded immediately at the time I submitted it -- why would it say 4 days ago on November 28th? I think there may be a glitch in the system. I'm hoping the problem is fixable****

    Please advise.

I found where I posted the above recipe review on 10/16/12 and the picture was uploaded on 10/21/12.

Here is where I posted it to the PAC Main Thread on 10/21/12:

Not sure if this is the problem, but I can't find anything else! I never deleted this picture once it was uploaded so the system must have a glitch.

    Thanks,

    Nancy

    Hi Mary,

I'm checking back to see if you have looked into the problem regarding my photo uploads.

I would really like to get it corrected so my photos will upload immediately or at least have some idea why I am on restriction - if that is the problem.

    Thanks,

    Nancy

All photos and recipes require approval now, I am so sorry about that! It was nothing that you did, I swear icon_smile.gif

Thanks so much for responding; however, my photos always updated immediately before. Just curious -- why did that change?? Is there a chance that it will go back to immediately updating my photos and recipes?

At least I know I wasn't the cause -- thanks for the reassurance! icon_lol.gif

    Have a great day!

It changed due to being bombarded by spammers who were uploading photos - and not nice photos to boot icon_confused.gif We are just being extra careful for the time being. It may not last forever, though.

    Such a shame!

Though if everyone has to wait for approval, I may as well delete a duplicate photo on one of my recipes! I had left it there because I didn't want to sit in the time-out chair ~ icon_razz.gif

    Thanks Mary,

That is so sad -- our perfect little world here is under attack by people who just want to spoil a good thing.

That makes the delay time more understandable to me -- thanks for the explanation.

    Have a great day!

You are very welcome and you are right, it is a shame, hopefully it won't last forever!
