Some great looking meals Steve! All great photos but two that really stood out were the adult’s potato pie and the very hard and exceptionally good photo of the cod and new potatoes.

Looks like you and your brother had a great visit, love getting glimpses of what is going on in your corner of the world. The plan photos are wonderful but the little car is just too cute.

I'm finally back from a week of trout fishing up in Grayling, MI, and back in the kitchen (The fishing was great...the catching, not so much!). I finally got some time to make a decent dinner for DW, and we have enough leftovers for open face roast beef sammies for dinner tomorrow. Sliced the roast very thin, which DW really likes.

In retrospect, I shoulda put the taters in the pot with the carrots & onions. I love veggies cooked with a good roast. The gravy was a wine reduction from the pan drippings and good stuff from the side of the pot, and was all wiped up with a piece of Italian bread. Nothing left for the dog to lick! icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

Steve, most of these photos are simply brilliant! You've got lighting down totally perfect. Love the food!! Problem is, by the time I post an answer, I cannot possibly remember all the photos! icon_lol.gif

A very few are probably not perfect -- one has colours which struck me as a little too deep? But don't mind me -- I cannot do what you do. Even though I have the same camera!

Excellent! I still admire your tenacity -- to style and photograph (apparently) almost every plate of food eaten in your house! Most nights our dinner plates look like dog food to me. (It's winter here, and have you ever seen a great photo of a stew?? I bet YOU can make it look stunning, but I cannot! icon_eek.gif icon_lol.gif )

Was glad to see you are doing recipe cards again, but this one did not open when I clicked on it.

Steve, you're amazing. My son has one of those fancy phones, being a businessman, and he sent me photos during the last couple of days, and all were slightly out of focus. So, it cannot be all that easy to take such wonderful photos with a cellphone. Take a bow!
