loof first awwww! Second how cool! And third what great photos!

Steve very interesting! Yes when I think about the terminology it is strange but goes back to my child hood when mom used to say make sure your pan is nice and hot to make sure your meat gets a nice caramelized glaze rather than the kind of dull brown look.

Wow what close up on the bee and what a good looking bee he is.

Debbwl... sorry my fault..... I'll try again

"perspective" that was the interesting word you used..... (well it was all interesting, but you know what I mean... well no you don't

with that in mind, go back up to the last photo of my breakfast (that you were saying about good glaze on) and under the photo in the white space, move your mouse pointer around the bottom left hand corner... You will see a line appear, its a link (I made the ink colour white so it didn't show).. click on it and it will reveal a photo showing the "perspective" of the breakfast shot that you might not have noticed !

Apparently that link does not show here in the U.S. because I certainly can't see it!

a technique of depicting volumes and spatial relationships on a flat surface. Compare aerial perspective, linear perspective.
a picture employing this technique, especially one in which it is prominent: an architect's perspective of a house.
a visible scene, especially one extending to a distance; vista: a perspective on the main axis of an estate.

Steve, the link is not showing up on your photo where I live, either.
Pammyowl, I teach my math students an art application called point perspective. It is used to make items look smaller in the distance- like a row of buildings or street lamps.

Yes, when I had art class, granted, way back when, we started drawing at a fixed point, then expanded from there, so I know what you mean. I am sure I would have loved to have you as a teacher, Miss Fanny! I love art AND math! icon_smile.gif

Thank you Pammyowl. My students can't wait to say they had me for math. We are all ready to see the end of this term. I am moving up with them next term. Can you just imagine their excitement. icon_lol.gif
