    looks great...

I have to ask though.. you call it a BLT which is a sandwich, but I'd call it a crispy bacon salad... so are you seeing it as a BLT with the bread missing which is what you were making it as, or did you make a good tasty salad and then created the name ?

    lol lol lol

BLT literally translates to Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato

but like your crispy bacon salad option NO BREAD lol too!

People think of BLT like a triple decker sandwich (either 2 or three layers)

but a BLT is literally a BLT

Am sure the next time I make it, I might call it Steve's crispy salad NB for NO BREAD lol lol

Don't worry, am sure JoeV would be cringing with no bread too! lol lol lol

    WHOO HOO

thanks always for you being YOU!

lol... yeah to me/us a BLT is a sandwich... I know the BLT stands for the ingredients but you would just ask for a BLT and expect a sandwich.. icon_biggrin.gif

Great photos, Mickey!!! It definitely looks delicious enough for me to drool! icon_biggrin.gif

Steve, I'd prefer Mickey's BLT, because I try to avoid sandwiches because although delectable and delightful, they are so fattening! At least, that is the effect that grains have on me! icon_lol.gif

    Gday and BIG thanks!

Had it not been because of my sugar related difficulty unrelated to diabetes I would be having that triple decker action going Steve! Was always a good childhood memory too! Especially with the Russian dressing slobbering down the sides too

Nothing wrong with bread for those whose body it does not affect

WHOO HOO! Is all about enjoying what we ALL can eat...My Doc directed lifestyle is pretty easy

YES foods, NO foods, sometimes foods
