Looking for recipe I used to make many years ago. I do not remember name of recipe. It starts out baking a very plain cookie-like dough in 13x9 pan . When you bring it out of the oven - you spread it with peanut butter while it is still hot (the peanut butter melts). Let cool a little. Then spread with chocolate chips and return to oven to let melt. Then spread melted chocolate chips with spatula.
If anyone has this recipe - I would be grateful. My daughter has never forgiven me for losing it.

    Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars

So There Reese's Peanut Butter Bars

It sounds like they could be a peanut butter version of "nanaimo bars". icon_confused.gif
