Moving ads

This site has been excruciatingly slow for at least a year. Now you've added moving ads and the site has become even slower. It is intolerable at times. Also, moving ads are irritating and they hold the page hostage until they're done doing their thing so you can't scroll to what you actually WANT to see. Bad move on Food.com's part.

Add adBlockPlus to your browser. It's been available for FF and Chrome for some time and IE now also has a version. The video type ads have been around for longer than a year, several years I would say, but I don't see them.

Something must have changed with my AdBlock Plus, then, because I've had it installed for several years and the moving ads and [even more irritating] popups just started showing up in the last few days.
