    Yes mom you can make yeast bread in cast iron skillet. Last night we enjoyed Boomette’s Skillet Bread 485261 we has a wonderfully buttery exterior and a nice fluffy inside.

    I love bread... all bread.... I make naan bread in a dry frying pan so there is no reason you can't do other types.... looks lovely... I'm full but want it now... icon_smile.gif

    Thanks Steve, I was a little worried about yeast with the short time frame. But was very pleasantly surprised at how it turned out.

    Tweaked Skillet Bread

    Fallowed Steve's suggestion and tweaked this bread a bit.

    For breakfast used whole wheat flour and no butter just a quick spray of PAM in the pan. While not as pretty it did taste very good and was much healthier icon_biggrin.gif
