Well, I just got a text message from my husband.

There is a hole in the house where the window used to be.

And he has no internet and no phone and he can't find the cat.

Oh dear..... did you tell these guys that you have a cat, so maybe they would not leave a HOLE in the house? Hopefully she got scared and is hiding INSIDE the house...... icon_eek.gif

Oh, yes, they know. My husband felt the need to warn them when they came by to plan the job that, no matter how cute she looks, or how much she asks them to, do NOT rub her belly. icon_rolleyes.gif

(I still fall for that cute-kitty stunt now and then! icon_lol.gif )

I'm sure she's stashed herself in the basement - she's an ace at hiding when she wants to. icon_wink.gif

rotfl.gif Sometimes, I STILL give in to the irresistible temptation when Shadow rolls over next to me or on my lap and looks up at me and begs me to rub her tummy.....it's so soft and fluffy....... icon_rolleyes.gif and I have the scratches to prove it! I hope she reappears soon and that they don;t leave your house wide open!! icon_eek.gif

Okay, they've got the holes covered, and the kitty is back to her normal starving self. . . we had our normal puppy-kitty treat time this morning. icon_biggrin.gif

The dog, however, is freaked out. He doesn't like all the furniture stuck in the living room, and he's definitely NOT a fan of the fact that the bottom step is gone (for now) so he has to JUMP up and down when he uses the stairs. icon_confused.gif
