    Starbucks green apple/ginger loaf

    Newbie "Fry Cook" Poster
    Starbucks in CA served this a few years back & I found it quite addictive. It had green apples and candied ginger in it and a cream cheese icing. Does anyone remember it and/or have a copycat for it? I've tried a few recipes but the apple isn't "apple-y" enough.

    Ginger spice cake topped with sweet cream cheese icing and candied orange peel.

    I found these similar recipes made with applesauce, but you can add chopped candied ginger, 1 cup of diced green apples and the applesauce to give more "apple-y" flavor that you want.
