Chicken Soup for the Crock Pot -- In reading the reviews -- given the fact that everyone said that their crockpot could not accomodate all the listed ingredients -- is their some way that I/everyone can find out the size of the crockpot that the person who posted the recipe used?

Try the Contact This Chef link. Click on the arrow to the right of their name top access it. I suspect that member may no longer be active, as that recipe was posted almost ten years ago and she hasn't posted one since 2008. Maybe the best thing to do is halve the recipe and see how it fills your cooker; you can always add the rest of the ingredients if it looks like it will hold it all, or freeze them prepared for another batch.

SIL does a chicken in large oval crockpot. She puts an "oven-stuffer" in and pours a bottle of fat free Italian dressing before heading to work. It's pretty much falling apart when she gets home but LOADED with liquid... NO additional stuff added. They'll have the chicken for dinner and then she makes chicken noodle soup with the liquid... adds onions, clelery, carrots, left-over chicken and some kinda noodles or pasta. Pretty darn tastey!

Thanks kesiverd, it does sound good -- but what exactly is an "oven stuffer"? --

That's what Perdue calls their roasting chickens. It's also street slang for a pudgy person or a pregnant teenager.
