Good morning Ms. Andi. I took an unexpected trip to Atlanta. My DD and youngest GD were both sick Monday and Tuesday. I did some caring for them and cooking along the way. Got home last night.

We were having our windows replaced and haven't done any decorating as yet for the holiday. Hope to get that done tomorrow.

Mia, have been missing you, everything ok? I know we are all so busy! Nothing like the holidays to put us in a good mood, and being swept away in anticipation of thus.

    Hope everyone's weekend was good.....

Good morning Andi. I am going to a an all church Sunday school this morning. We are suppose to bring a breakfast dish. I am taking gluten free cranberry orange muffins. The recipe isn't from this site but I may just have to post it. It is one of my favorites.

The rain is really coming down this morning.

Lovely foggy day here on the farm. Made some spaghetti and meatsauce but used some high fiber pasta noodles for Dennis.

Hope your Monday is going along, and all is well with all of you!

    Your muffins sound lovely, Paula!!

Thank you Andi. I used agave as the sweetener. They were a little tart but really moist and yummy.

Ladies, I'm sorry!! I was so crappy sick all month and barely could keep up with everything. O.K., not barely but not at all, evidently icon_redface.gif
Good news is that I've found the culprit. Bad news is that it's oats. I definitely thought gluten free oats were fine, but they aren't.
Now I'm getting better, finally, just in time for the holidays icon_rolleyes.gif

Andi and Paula, hope you're both fine and happy and enjoying yourself!
Snow anywhere? Here, it looks like we're going to have about 48 degrees on Christmas eve.

    Paula, that sounds incredible!
Are the waffles your sourdough waffles? I'd love to see a photo of those stacked waffles.

    That would be lovely!
Do you usually have a festive dinner on Christmas eve (24th) or on Christmas day (25th)?

This will be a year of new traditions. Both sets of grandparents now live in the same town. I am headed to Atlanta tomorrow, will spend the night and on Friday go to my GD's school party. In the afternoon I'll bring both kids up. We will have our party and then on Saturday I'll take them to see Santa.

Sunday we will be having a "family" dinner at the other Grandma's. Christmas Eve will be a Mexican themed dinner at my house. Christmas dinner will be everyone at the other grandma's.

Like I said, a lot of new traditions!

How's pre-Christmas life on your beautiful farm? Hope you can relax some, too, and enjoy good food and spicy hot drinks.

Paula, those new traditions sound nice. Isn't Christmas so special when children are around?

Good morning everyone. The waffles were a hit. Wasn't able to get any photos as I was delayed in traffic and got home later than anticipated. The girls were hungry!

Yesterday we read a book about letters to Santa. Did our Santa letters, mailed them and had photos made with Santa. Lots of fun! Today all the family is here except DS. We are going planning to go to the aquarium this morning.

Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season.
