    I don't understand how I get the carrot juice and the celery juice to use in this recipe. Could you elaborate?

    When you click on the "Ask a Question" link, you are brought to the Q&A Forum, where other members of the community will try to answer your questions.     I imagine they are expecting you to use a vegetable juicer...

    ETA: The poster comments in the header, "Dr. Fuhrman says, “Juice carrots and celery in a juice extractor. Fresh juiced organic carrots are necessary to maximize the flavor of this soup”."

    The intro to the recipe provides more info - you need a juice extractor, although I have seen carrot juice at stores from time to time.
