After all rich high calorie foods in overindulgent serving sizes we need something a little less guilt redden and I’mPat’s French Pear Pudding 460556 fit the bill.

Thanks Zurie, was not sure what to expect from this recipe but it made a light and different dessert which was a nice change from Thursday’s big meal.

Yes Steve it was very simple just a little fruit, egg, vanilla, milk, flour, and a smidgen of sugar. If looking for a really sweet dessert would recommend increasing the sugar.

This looks like a great light pudding. The nutrition table, as happens so often, is wrong again. I always check out only one thing: carbohydrate content.
There is NO WAY that 1 seving can have more than 44 g carbs, as stated!!
(It's one thing that annoys the heck our of me in this site. The nutrition tables are often wrong).

Thanks Mickey I was pleasantly surprised at how the egg and vanilla really heighted the pear and it really was not an overly sweet dessert.
