    Basketball sugar cookies

I'm making basketball cookies to sell at an upcoming Fair to raise money for the team. I found a great icing which hardens quickly. My question, what is the best way to do the black lines on the basketballs so that the lines don't smear and stay in tact? Any great suggestions?

Use the same icing died black. I know I've seen black food coloring at Walmart, and places that sell Wilton products should have it.
