Happy Thanksgiving back at 'cha! Charlotte kicks me out of the kitchen on Thanksgiving and cooks up a storm. We have one 3-year-old running around and 8 grownups acting like 3-year-olds.

Whew, am I full! I did the turkey, sausage stuffing, green bean casserole, and a rice side dish. The other family members brought everything else. I didn't even do the rolls. I lived clear across the country from my family for 25 years and couldn't be a part of their holiday dinners. I mailed my dinner roll recipe to my sister and she learned to make them quite well, even though she has never been into baking. She became 'famous' for the rolls within the family so she always makes them now, even though I moved back and am with the family again. Oh well, they were excellent so maybe she had a good teacher.

We got back a couple of hours ago, stuffed also. Turkey, potato kugelis, Lithuanian sausage, veggie lasagna, corn casserole, sauerkraut, braised sauerkraut, apple coleslaw, roasted sweet potato-garlic-onion dish, store rolls, eight or nine desserts - including a pumpkin cheesecake made by one of the nieces and these really good ginger cookies that I just must get the recipe for.

Sounds like everyone had a great Thanksgiving, we did too - with lots of family - a new recipe that I made that everyone raved about was
