mums the word, yes that is helpful, I will have to do some troubleshooting to see if I can duplicate your problem.

Toni in Colorado, what browser and version are you using?

Okay, mums the word, I impersonated your account using both of the browsers you have tried and was able to upload a photo to your profile just fine. I also tried IE8, which I use, and there was no problem uploading a photo to your profile using that browser either. Given the fact that I cannot duplicate your problem, I'm guessing either your photo is too large or your file size is too big. The parameters for profile photos and recipe photos are different so I suggest reading the FAQ's at the link below:

Toni in Colorado, please try deleting your cookies and cache and try again. If you are still having trouble, please read above and check your pic and file size, it may need to be cropped to a smaller image.

    Hope this helps you both!

Thanks for your responses, but I wasn't trying to upload a photo. I was rewriting my profile. I'll get my computer pro hubby to see what the problem is. Again, thanks for your help.

Thanks Mary. Firefox Mozilla is version 17.0.1
    Google Chrome is 1.3.21.123
    Does that help you?

Your Firefox version should be fine. Your Chrome, however, is an older version. I have Version 23.0.1271.97. You may want to try updating Chrome.

If it says processing, it is having trouble loading the photo. If you would like to email it me at help@Food.com, I will be happy to try to upload it for you.

Can you verify the versions of Flash and Java for me to help us troubleshoot further?

We support Flash Player 9 and above, and Java 6 and above. Please verify you have these. To check which version you have, please click on http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/. Under Adobe Flash Player, click on link to Test your Adobe Flash Player installation. To verify your java version, please use the following link and click on the middle link asking Do I have Java.

I am having problems changing my profile as well - it won't let me edit the contents on the about me section. Do i need to do anything special?? I have tried several ways to edit without success - won't even let me put the curson on the about me section TO make changes icon_sad.gif

From the dropdown next to your username and avatar/profile pic, click on My Settings or from your profile click on My Settings from the top right hand corner of the page. You must be signed in and under My Settings to edit. Then once you have made your changes, scroll down to the bottom of the page to Save Changes.

I tried changing my profile and also had a problem. It let me type the new profile, but when I made a typo and wanted to correct it, I had to delete the whole thing and start over again. It would not let me click on the typo itself. I had this problem twice and finally gave up.

Can you give me a specific example so I can troubleshoot?

Hi again! Adobe is 11.6.8.638 and Java is version 7, update 9. I'll go in and try again to download the photo. If you don't see one shortly, it didn't work. Thanks for your help Mary!

Sorry Mary, my reply got stuck within your quote above somehow.

    Adobe shockwave 11.6.8.638
Java is version 7 update 9.

Tried to load the photo again and still didn't work. I have to go out right now (hockey night in Canada) so I'll try again tomorrow.

I got it to work. I went to your Settings, then browsed for photo and uploaded. It spun for a few seconds, but uploaded. Then I scrolled down to the bottom of the page to Save Changes.
