Well, Mickey the Fang, you and your new camera seem to be getting on exceptionally well! Wonderful photos! Love the lettuce rolls -- light and healthy.

I also saw an idea in a magazine of Chinese-type rolls with no carbs ... as soon as I have time I'm going to try my own version ...

Oh dear, Mickey, I'm hungry, hungry!! Was out, had a very light and not very good salad for lunch, and it's only 5pm now ... icon_eek.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

Gday and big thanks and thanks for the chuckles about Mickey the Fang lol Caused LOTS of much needed laughs today! Thanks!

Imagine what is going to happen when I actually know what's going on re the camera etc lol

re the chinese style rolls...you now have me intrigued as I have made many different combinations re these no carb type roll up thingys (sounds very professional, doesn't it lol)

I presume you are not talking about the rice paper ones as the rice paper is not low carb; they tout them as healthy and while "on occasion" I can have them, I find the asian countries do wrap a lot of things in cabbage, lettuce leaves, silverbeet etc

I have YOU to thank today as I quickly went to search for more wraps (I have previously submitted the rolled rice paper ones in the photo forum)

I saw this wrap today and it now has inspired ME to do too!

    Hazelnut Asian Lettuce Wrap

YUM! Wrapped in romaine with chicken and hazelnuts as the protein too!

    WHOO HOO!
