 Hi pammyowl
I have fond memories of my nanna making golden syrup dumplings as a winter dessert. She would serve them with custard or ice-cream. An old-fashioned dessert that's always been a hit in my home. Such a comfort food- hot, gooey, sweet and comes with good memories for me
Currently, pammyowl is IT and HERE are her recipes .

Hi Mia!
I have my rosemary bush (or better serveral bushes) in the garden near the house wall! That's very important here!
By -15°C last winter the end of the branches dried out, but in spring the rosemary came again. It's a bush that a friend me grew up from a wild one from Avellino (Italy), it's not a commercial one, perhaps this is the key! From this bush I made serveral ones to be sure I won't loose it! I take a long branch and I place it into a pot without cutting it from the mother plant ( Layering methode). More or less after 6 months I can separete the new plant and I can place it in the garde where I wish.
I see - yes, I remember my aunt's rosemary (she lived in Civitanova / Marche), it was much more flavourful than the pottet plants you get here
We barely ever have less than 0 degrees C but the rosemary doesn't survive. So I always keep a pot in my kitchen.

Crazy, but I obviously had a mental relapse as I knew I had tagged a recipe in some new game but I couldn't remember where?
So tonight I have been going through every forum looking for one that jogged my memory. Finally I remembered that I'mPat zmailed me with the invitation so here I am.
