Best Breakfast Casserole Ever! icon_smile.gif LOVE the sound of this recipe but trying to figure out what to do with two cans of crescent rolls as the recipe only calls for one can. Any guidance appreciated!

This was covered in another recent thread. Apparently the can contains two rolls of dough, and that is what is meant, so you only need one can.

    Um, that's not correct.

A can of crescent rolls contains one sheet perforated into eight triangular pieces. To make the rolls as rolls you would separate the triangular pieces and roll each one of them up into a crescent. In this recipe, the rolls are flattened out to remove the perforations.

Two crescent rolls would not be enough to fill a 9x13" pan, and there is only one sheet in a can. Two would mean two cans, because there is also a mention of the non-perforated sheets of dough, which also come one sheet to a can.

I suspect that this is a variation of this Pillsbury recipe, and that the second can goes on top: http://www.pillsbury.com/recipes/breakfast-casserole/fd8c31f7-f5ec-4e79-a494-5f2ee0eab73e

This is a similar recipe that tells you what to do with the second can of rolls:
