Search function not working

I type something in and tell it to search, and it just sits there. I'm using Firefox 16.0.2.

And before you ask, yes, I have cleared my cache.

Still not working on Firefox.

It does work on IE8. But since the sifter doesn't work on IE, that's not an option.

It also works for me in Firefox. Also in Chrome. Tried several different searches in each.

That's interesting. I don't know what's going on. I can't bring up the sifter, either.

The search does work on Firefox when I'm in a cookbook, but not otherwise. Odd.

No problems here, so far, same version of FF. Not to belabor the obvious, as we know you are no dummy, but shutting down and restarting my computer usually corrects weird mystery problems. For example, my keyboard just stops working occasionally when I am in Food.com., but not on other sites. A shutdown always takes care of that.

Shutting down didn't work; the problem started last night, and we shut down the computer at night.

Everything seems to work in Opera, so I guess I'll have to use that to search.

I was about to post this problem, but saw you already had. I have tried off and on today to try to get 2 recipes. The Search function does not work.

If you using IE, that is a different problem which they are working on. If you are not using IE, please advise which browser you are using. Chocolatl appears to have a unique problem, as the rest of us who use FF are not having any problems. But perhaps you are using FF.
