Thanks you guys...just saw a BIG flash to the south of us.... that's how the power outages started during Sandy.... with transformers going down.... and the Town just sent out a notice saying that some people have lost power again.... ICK...... hopefully our "fix" will hold!!! It's mighty COLD out there! Hopefully I will be posting later and tomorrow...from HOME!

And it's not the pretty, white, fluffy have a fun snowball fight kind. It's wet and messy snow that turns to ice.

Believe me, it's ick-cubed....times two! Friends in town with three little kids (and wife is pregnant) lost their power again..... happily for them they have someone to stay with, so they are warm tonight... so far we're OK.... but I'm redistributing the lanterns, flashlights etc when we go to bed....just in case...... and yes, we are all stressed out... more so the folks who STILL don't have their power back or those who lost it yet again.... I'm just stressed worrying about it....hope to be online tomorrow from HOME!

To quote my friend Mickeydownunder (who is the MOTM by the way!) "WHOOO HOOO"...we made it through the night WITH our power and HEAT! Here are some views out the window this morning. We're staying IN at least until the afternoon when I may go and clean off my car, carefully....

This is what I saw when I went out to my car around 1:45 PM today.... not so bad all things considered...
