Hi guys!
Sorry, I meant to set everything up, like you said, SuperLoula (thank YOU), but DH (that's Dedicated Harry ) was away on business a province over, and there was a snowstorm there, with all flights cancelled, so I ended up looking after the three boys until he could fly back - and then I had the flu. Sorry for not being here. He's back in Saskatoon again, and guess what? There's a big snowstorm heading our way! I told him 'no more traveling to Sask for you!' Ha!
I'm really glad to hear our friends in NY and NJ are ok - I hope you all made it through the last storm, too. My heart and prayers go out to you all!
I'm going to go peruse recipes now...

Kat, Im so glad Harry, you and the boys are alright. Uggh, snow storms, that sounds terrible. I am so glad we dont get those over here!
Please dont worry about not setting everything up, sometimes life just gets into the way and I totally understand. I was just a little worried and angry at myself for not checking in here sooner. But all is well that ends well, right?!
For Acadia, I would like to make these two peanutty recipes:
Julie's Peanut Butter Pie #354391
Ramen Noodle Peanut Bread #336771
What are you guys doing this weekend? I had another mock exam of 5 hours today (property law- ugh), but then made pie with my sis and relaxed. Whatever youre up to, I hope itll be fun!

Hey CG, thanks for the lovely review on my Cranberry Foccacia! Crossing fingers that one of your photos (which are always lovely, imho) will pass muster and be posted.
Hey Loula, It's still snowing out there... they're saying 20-40 cm of snow, so I'm planning to snuggle in and cook some more!! They don't call Winnipeg 'Winterpeg' for nothing! The snow was supposed to have stopped by now, and it looks like we've had around 15 cm (pretty close to 6 inches) of snow. So really, not THAT bad.
I have to make some goodies for an upcoming bake sale at the boy's high school on the 22nd, so I might as well try some new recipes for that... any ideas??
