I am looking for a recipe for this cheesecake but NOT with the topping being berries.
I would like a cheesecake with blackberries IN it.
I just bought 2 6 oz boxes of fresh blackberries and want to use them now.

    Nana Lee,
I just posted all these good recipes in the Cooking Questions & Answers Forum at your request, and here they are posted again for you:

Maybe you can try these good recipes:

Or maybe you would like to try this other blackberry crumble cheesecake recipe, which includes blackberries in the filling and the crumble topping, but the ingredients are in British grams:

Am sure you are going to enjoy that cheesecake, Nana Lee. icon_biggrin.gif icon_wink.gif

I found out some differences in the filling of the recipes posted by ratherbeswimmin' - 321819 which includes 1/2 cup sweet blackberry wine 2/3 cup fresh blackberries (or frozen, thawed and drained blackberries); and Dreamgoddess - 202738 includes 1 cup blackberry jam and 8 ounces (or 1 cup) frozen blackberries thawed.

Both recipes sound very good but I wonder if blackberry wine would be easy to find in any store?.

First, I already have the wine, and second, even though I have the blackberry preserves also, I prefer to use the berries. The preserves would add too much sugar.
I live a Low Carb life and will make the cheesecake as low carb as possible.
    Thanks, again!

Sorry not to have posted sooner but got so busy. LOVED the blackberry cheesecake. I have made a paper copy and keep it in the kitchen so I don't have to go too far to make another! I'm basically a lazy person!
When I think back on it I start to drool! I had to keep myself from gobbling it all down the first day or 2. It really took all my willpower!
    Thank you, Pinky Cookie!
