RECIPE SWAP #70 - November 2012 - Groups posted

For Group 3, I have MERP'd the following three recipes:

Microwave Fried Rice #94211 by mummamills
Garlic Mashed Potatoes #136060 by NurseJaney
Sweet and Sour Dipping Sauce #175169 by Chickee

For some reason PhotoBucket wasn't loading up properly for me so I was unable to upload my photos. Is anyone else having problems with PhotoBucket? I don't know how to share my photos in forums without it. I was able to post photos with the recipe reviews, Any advice on my problem with PhotoBucket would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much for the great review and yummy photo of dinner plate ! It all looks so good put together ! I am so glad you enjoyed the garlic mashed.

No recent experience with PhotoBucket -- DH has made himself scarce when my dishes are plated !!

I don't use PhotoBucket but after the recipe has posted here I click on the photos tab under the recipe and scroll to the right one, usually the last one. Then you can right-mouse click on the recipe and select "copy image location" under Firefox.

For Internet Explorer you can do a right mouse click and select properties and you see the Address (URL). Although it doesn't look like it you can select that piece of text and press Ctrl-C to copy to the clipboard.

Then you end up with the following on the clipboard:
http://food.sndimg.com/img/recipes/94/21/1/large/picGbtzni.jpg

That you can just put the [img] [/img] tags around.

I was having huge issues with photobucket for the best part of a week as they hwere re-inventing their site but even now for some reason I cannot upload photos in Internet Explorere and all other functions are really slow but having no problems in Fire Fox.

I was able to get my photos uploaded into PhotoBucket through FireFox.

For Group 1



I have made and enjoyed lauralie41's Middle Eastern Vegetable Grain Burgers. I haven't photographed them because I had the mixture a little too damp and they didn't hang together very well. Probably because I had too much water when cooking the lentils. However I do want to say, the taste was awesome!!! DH and I thoroughly enjoyed our burgers and if time permits I'll be making them again before the end of the month with a slight modification to the way I cooked the lentils.
