    Pet safety for Halloween

Don't let them out unattended - not even in your yard.

Many humane societies refuse to adopt out a black cat in the week or so prior to Halloween.

There are freaks out there. Just sayin..

Also consider that while it is a fun time for most humans it can truly be scary for our pets. Costumes can be real problem for many. Unless you know that your pets are solid and have enjoyed the day in the past, please do them a favour and keep them in a different room other than the one to the front door. They can spook (yeah, ok, pun intended icon_redface.gif ) and be gone before you know it.

I don't mean to be a downer on what is fun day and night 99% of the time. I love seeing the little ones icon_smile.gif

Great tips K9. People who already have black cats should make SURE that they STAY INDOORS the week before Halloween and a day or so afterwards, if they are indoor/outdoor cats..... there are all sorts of warnings up all around here about keeping your black cats safe..... there ARE sick people out there....... icon_evil.gif
