Howdy Hey menu peeps!!! Another week gone by! Another week closer to Christmas!!!! Can't believe it's November!!! American Thanksgiving is coming!!
We have had a blustery day today. In fact, a brush fire broke out just north of me and it was smoky and ashy! No worries...they got it contained quickly when the winds died down.
I have a busy week coming up. Sunday I'm making a birthday dinner for a foodie friend - lots of cooking. And then on Thursday, it's Soup Night for Bunco at my house. I only host once a year so I go all out!!!
Here's my menu for the coming week. Share yours!
Saturday - menfolk are going fishing. Hoping they bring some home. But making Bev's Macaroni and Cheese and salad either way.
Sunday - Simon's bday dinner - Moroccan-Style Stuffed Acorn Squash, Fragrant Moroccan Beef, Date, Honey and Prune Tagine - Crock Pot, Hummus (Or Humus) - Authentic, Black Forest Stuffed Cupcakes.
Monday - Creamy Pumpkin Pasta with salad and bread
Tuesday - Mexican lasagna - no real recipe, with salad
Wednesday - Trunk or Treat at church - will eat there
Thursday - BUNCO!!!! Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels, Chloe's Spicy Pretzels (No Cook), Harvest Caramel Corn, Unknownchef86's Very Best Dinner Rolls, Harvest Chopped Salad, Baked Potato Soup, White Chili (Football Soup), Paula Deen's Butterfinger Cake
Friday - no cooking, as I'll be unconcious!

C - Sounds like a busy week with the Bunko party and Birthday party. Great sounding menu.
We have some Fall light weather here. Hi in the 70's this week, which is a change, Fall for us. And C, don't even remind me of Xmas ... not yet!!
Well, for me, pretty normal week. Lady #3 I cook for is having major surgery the next few weeks, so I won't be cooking for her. Also, I picked up a new client; but I will be making 3 ahead meals for her, she can reheat during the week. It is just cooking on Sunday and delivering the food Mon am. Very easy.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
SAT ...
Dinner: Southern Scalloped potatoes, but I am adding sausages to mine; peas; and tomato slices
----------
SUN ...
Bread Day: White
Dinner: Chicken and spinach roll-ups alfredo casserole (new recipe); salad; garlic bread
New Client: Chicken cacciatore, white rice, garlic rolls; Creamy smoked chicken pasta casserole; fruit salad; Pork, potato, kale and bean soup; pumpernickel bread. Dropping off everything Mon. am.
----------
MON ...
Lady #1: Pork with a Blackberry Glaze; jasmine rice; wild mushroom saute
Lady #2: A mix of a couple of recipes. Crock pot pork loin with apples, parsnips, and potatoes; a spinach salad with a bacon dressing
Me: Salmon Tacos w/Avocado Fennel Slaw; spicy black beans
----------
TUES ...
Me and a Friend: Alfredo casserole leftovers; tomato, cucumber, and Feta salad; homemade rolls
----------
HAPPY HALLOWEEN
Ladies #1 and #2: Ham and Bean Soup, pretty close to my recipe; beer bread; stuffed salad leaves (with a basic chopped salad)
Me: French dip sandwich; lentil soup from the freezer
----------
THURS ...
Over to friends to celebrate their new home, I'm sure I will take something
----------
FRI ...
Ladies #1 and #2: Game/Card Night - TBD
Me: Beer cheese soup; mini beer burgers w/swiss cheese and caramelized onions; German Potato Salad

Hey guys. Woke up to temperature in the high 30's. Had to turn the heater on.
Here is the plan, Mon-Fri:
Monday: after JV football game, The Patty Melt and salad
Tuesday: Four Bean Enchiladas, steamed broccoli, and salad
Wednesday: Halloween
The kids are participants in our local haunted house. I am helping w/ make-up (so fun). Will spit our time between that and Trunk or Treat at our church. Cincinnati Five-Way Chili, salad, and Red Devil Bundt Cake (with the bloody butcher knife)
Thursday: Old Bay Shrimp Boil, crusty bread, and salad
Friday: Eat Out after HS football game; Cafe Mocha Latte, while we wait for kids to come home
Work Lunches: Chunky Italian Soup w/ New England Anadama Bread (Bread Machine) and Red Beans and Couscous
Breakfast: Arkansas German-Baked Pancake
Snacks: Halloween Fudge and if there is time, daughter wants to make Halloween Poke Cake
