Can I buy a decent one for under $100? My main interest is pureeing the winter squash I grow for freezing. Occasionally I use my counter top blender for pureeing tomato sauce from home grown tomatoes before straining. It's not all that efficient and is a bit of a mess at times.

I checked out those links. Very helpful. Thank you.

I have a KA food processor. Bottom line seems to be a steel stick.
