DerbiDerb and I are picturing some one snorkeling from Canada with your ornaments in a dry sack and that is why they are taking so long. We were just talking today and we feel bad that they have taken so long to get to Tisme and Jubes and hope they arrive really soon!!!!

Has anyone started shopping for next year? I have found some great things in the after Christmas sales that I couldn't pass up.

I thought that I would get organised this year and have already bought some in advance...............first time ever for me. I'm usually a 'leave it to the last minute" kinda person

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, too! We did, but then a fever/cold went through my family a couple days after~and just when I thought it was going to bypass me, I caught it! I'm just glad that it didn't make a second round--that's been known to happen over here, lol. I am finally in a cooking/baking mode again, and am browsing recipes for ideas. icon_smile.gif

I looked up the TimTam slam. We will definitely try it! I haven't opened the package yet - I am saving them - maybe we will try it Christmas eve! I used my new apron tonight when I baked Christmas cookies icon_smile.gif

I didn't realize that was a cloth to wrap your Christmas pudding in - very neat! I love how it has a recipe on it icon_smile.gif

OMG! I found Tim Tams and just tried a Tim Tam slam, was so delicious that I just had to have a second one icon_wink.gif

Yay !!!!! My package arrived today !!!!

My youngest daughter, Holly, was very excited to tell me that our package from Canada had arrived. She was patiently waiting for me to come home from work.....and had to open it straight away icon_smile.gif

Alison has sent us a lovely package with ornaments and maple syrup (that we can't wait to try) and two great cookbooks too. I'll be back to post a photo soon........just have my camera battery on charging now.

Hopefully Tisme has received hers today too.......but I do know that she is heading away from home for the next couple of weeks.................so fingers crossed she receives her package first.

Thankyou Alison, I've really enjoyed the swap and for being such a great swap partner icon_biggrin.gif

Thankyou also to you Tiggrrr for organising my favourite swap and for all the work involved that you do icon_biggrin.gif

Be back with a photo later !

I agree, hopefully Tisme gets hers before she leaves.

Tiggrr, like Jubes said, thank you for organising a fun even!
