Came home today to a wonderfully big surprise box from my partner Katharine(sassykat). So many beautiful things I don't know where to start. There were 2 lovely glass icicles (one broke but it was a clean break so should be easy to repair. 2 snowflake ornaments with a big crystal hanging from each one, a broken teacup pendant that her friend made from one of her favourite teacups that broke. The proceeds from making them go to a women's shelter. So many beautiful fragile ornaments an owl, a leaf and 2 pine cones. 2 wooden cardinals, 2 cardinals that have clips on there feet to attach them to anything you want, tea towels, napkins, coffee in several flavors, cinnamon sticks, cloves (the whole box smelled of them...yumm), cinnamon soap, chocolates oh and the most adorable whisk with a gingerbread man in the middle. I looked at one of those when I bought your Santa measuring spoons.
She really outdid herself. So glad that you popped in and decided to join at the last minute. I am so grateful for the wonderful parcel you sent and the new friendship made.

can someone please tell me what I have to do to post a picture?

    wave.gif Hi eveylyn

You need to link to a photo that is already held on the web to show a photo in the forums here on Food.com.

I use Photobucket to upload my photo and then use the [IMG] tag to display the photo here in the forum.

There are lots of other photo hosting sites that allow you to create a free account too

I use Photobucket too. If you want you can send me a pic via email or FB and I can post it here Evelyn.

My lovely parcel arrived today from my swap partner Kim!!!
She sent me two adorable snowmen ornaments, an I Believe ornament, A flashing light up snowman ornament, a lovely organic chocolate bar and an everyday Joy of Cooking calendar!
I'm so happy, and it could not have come on a better day, we have been stuck at home with this flu for EVER! So this little ray of sunshine was just the thing to make me smile! Thanks Kim!
Ps. If I can ever figure out how to get my photos off my phone and on to Photobucket I will post a picture.

Here is a picture of the beautiful things Evelyn sent to me.

There are some great gifts being sent, I never seem to see as many novelty things here in the UK we mainly do traditional, so its lovely to see different things.

Christmas has started in earnest in the school I work in, crib setting yesterday, Christmas fayre today, show rehersal Wednesday then we are off to the pantomime on Friday......(Oh no we aren't) Oh yes we are......lol

Will be putting tree up at the weekend as I finally found one I like, it has little dew drops on the ends of some of the branches.
