10th Annual Holiday Ornament Swap - Complete

Ten years ago my dear friend Evelyn started this swap and it has become an annual tradition that I was fortunate to have passed to me a few years ago. Traditions during the holidays are truly important. One of my favourites is the day that we put up and decorate our Christmas tree. I have a beautiful box that my swap package was sent in one year, it now holds all my special ornaments. I have ornaments from all over the US, Canada, Europe and Australia. As I put each one on the tree I remember just how far they have come from. The holiday ornament swap is my other holiday tradition. The season would not be the same without it.

This swap is based on the Christmas/Hanukkah celebrations but can also include other holidays if someone would like to join us (you will just have to let us know what your special traditions are). Ornaments can be handmade or bought. Other items that have been included in the past are holiday recipe books/magazines, non-perishable food and treats, holiday kitchen towels and gadgets. Chatting with your partner and participating in the thread chat will help you to figure out what you might want to include. Cost of this swap is set at $25(this does not include shipping).

I will send out a small questionnaire that will help me to pair partners up. I would like everyone to make at least 4 posts during the swap. 1) to let me know you want to sign up, 2) to let me know you have contacted your partner, 3) to let me know that you have shipped your package and 4) to let me know you have received your package {a pic is always so much fun to share, so if you don't have a camera ask your partner if she/he has one to take it before the package is shipped}

I will take sign-ups until Nov 9th. Packages will need to be shipped by Nov 24th. Please remember that international packages can take much longer to arrive (but can be so much fun).
