Long day at work on Tuesdays keep me away from having fun. I am so looking forward to Halloween being done so the stores will burst with Christmas.

Hi morgainegeiser, welcome to the Ornament swap. See you are a well seasoned swapper who did participate in 2008. So glad you have come back to the best swap of the year (I'm a little biased...lol)

It is unusual for where I live but this year the stores have already put Christmas out in a big way and Halloween, too. Blows my mind that retail stores are now saying that Halloween is about to top Christmas in spending and decorating. Not at my house, I have two lighted pumpkins in my windows that I bought on close out a few years ago and spent a whole 99 cents on them. First time I have ever used them and probably wouldn't have this year except I was baby sitting and the child got bored so we got those pumpkins out and she had a blast. I plan on 3 Christmas trees and I live by myself.

I find the Costco and Dollar stores have already stocked up on the Christmas stuff but the other stores are still in Halloween mode.
I only have 1 tree but do decorate every corner of the house.

Hi all, sent out the questionnaires this morning for all that have signed up til now. What a rainy rainy week we have going on. First the storm from out west that dropped snow in Alberta and Saskatchewan and then Hurricane Me is coming in so I seem to be getting blamed for some of this...lol

Emailed my questionnaire back earlier today. Hope you get it, because when (if) the power goes out, it could be out for weeks in the Philadelphia area!!!!!!!
