Hi menu peeps. I'm a day early again, but sometimes it just works that way!
We finally have some nice fall weather! Big thunder storm yesterday - I loved it!!!! I made a roast and it just felt RIGHT!
Had a great visit with my eldest DS and can't wait until he's home for several months (all the way until spring training).
Anywho...here is my menu for the week. Share yours!!!
Saturday - out to eat with SeriousEats.com group! Japanese food!
Sunday - Chicken Pot Pie With 2 Crusts, but gonna make it with puff pastry in a 13x9 - seeing if we like it as well.
Monday - Italian Countryside Beef Soup for the Crock Pot with bread and salad
Tuesday - a pasta recipe from SeriousEats.com
Wednesday - Chicken Lazone with mashed potatoes and green beans
Thursday - Empress Chicken with rice and vegies
Friday - leaving open for stretch room

If anyone is asking the meat to cheese is 50/50 = 100 grams
and harder cheeses are what much healthier and better for you

the turkey ravioli is good. One son wanted pasta and the other meat and I wanted to add some veggies and to keep the calories count fairly reasonable-- so we were all happy!

Multiple computer issues, 3 in the docs office; hopefully back Mon or Tues
Bad back, and sprained ankle.
Will return.
For the next 3 days ... basically leftovers.
Chicken and rice from the freezer with a salad
Tonight was my leftover stuffed acorn squash, with corn and a tomato salad
Tomorrow, french onion soup and a french roast beef dip
Then, I have more chili I could make and serve over corn bread
I also have salmon which I could easily grill, with a baked spud and veggies
So, this week will be all about anything quick and easy. No real plan, play it as we go.
Back soon
