Ontario Zaars & Friends - Falling into Fall

    Thu Oct 11, 2012 11:01 pm Groupie

This past weekend we traveled east of Peterborough, ON to my DH cabin in the bush. I photographed the pictures in the banner and thought I would share them with you. Sitting on the deck overlooking the pond I realized that Fall was abound so thought I should move us on to the new season. Fall is so much fun, Hiking through the forest with the leaves crunching under our feet, looking at the trees full of colour and bringing out those warm sweaters all great things we are able to enjoy here in Ontario.
So what do you love about Fall? Any pictures to share?

It is nippy for sure. I am putting the garden to bed and hating every minute of it. I will miss the bright yellow flowers in the morning in the garden.
I am knitting warm blankets to keep some of less fortunate warm during the winter.. Making soups to keep me warm during the cold winter days ahead. I have a long list of to dos this winter and trying to get them all crossed off by spring lol will I do it ?

We should have a forum of tasks to do before and after pictures maybe it will keep us motivated.

For a while today I almost thought that Summer was back. What a beautiful day and I was lucky enough to have the day off work. Hope this isn't the last of the nice weather.
