    Need advice with Pumpkin Bread

    3 questions on recipe # 237596 Golden Pumpkin Bread

    Recipe calls for 16oz. can of pumpkin. The ones I find now are 15oz. Will this affect the recipe? 150z. can instead of 16oz.?

    Can I get away with 1 cup of sugar instead of 1-1/2 cups?

    Recipe does not specify light or dark brown sugar. Any difference tastewise?

    15 ounces will be plenty.
    My mother routinely reduced sugar in all American recipe by half - everything was too sweet for her - and practically never had a problem. I think you'll be fine reducing by 1/2 cup.
    Light and dark brown sugar differ in the amount of intensity. I think either would work well in this recipe.
