Viewed this recipe on the food network site. Looks very good. My question is this. Was the corned beef pre cooked? seems like it woud be extremly tuff otherwise.

I'm sure the beef was cooked, friend.

That's a great question for the folks over on the food network site. icon_smile.gif

I looked at the recipe on the Food Network site, and the first review reads, "The corned beef rendered off nicely after being cooked a second time." So at least one person made it with cooked corned beef. In any case, the short cooking time would indicated cooked meat, I think.
