I read reviews for it on amazon - apparently there is no smell while it's reheating your food, so you can use it in a cubicle without annoying your officemates. I don't need one but I want one.

Ooooooh, another reviewer said you can freeze food in round plastic containers and it fill pop in perfectly. That would be a great option.

It sounds great - it'll be perfect for DD to take her soup lunch to work and I'll like it for keeping hot dips warm.

I started just getting DD one, but then decided I HAD to have one too.

omgosh! That is super cute, you guys! I will have to pin it now and buy it later. Immediately I thought of 3 other friend or family members that I could gift this to. Of course, it would be perfect for me and DD for dinners most nights. We both can share one serving and be fine. So much less waste, even though I portion and freeze a lot anyway, I don't always freeze in single servings. This would "force" me to do that and then DH could have one at work and DD & I could use one at home. Technically we'd be eating dinner together... right?

Has anyone started using theirs? I saw this in an ad in a magazine about six months ago, but never could find it to order. I've got to start bringing my lunch more often but I'm a little concerned about it being only 20 ounces, that sound so small. Thanks!

No, I've put mine away for Christmas so won't be using them for awhile - but I think it's going to be perfect for DD as she eats a lot of soups, and is always taking left overs home to take to work the next day.

I think she's going to love this.

20 ounces is over 2 cups of liquid - that's really quite a bit of soup or chili or whatever.

Your right - when you measure it that way. That's a pretty good size lunch.

Well, I'll let you know once I get home to try it out - I can't wait for my DD to get hers, I just know she's going to love it - I need to think about getting one for some of my working sisters. I'm thinking it'll be an awesome Christmas gift and one that'll get used. Who knows, might even convert others to being "Gadget Geeks"

How cute!! I got mine last night, had to run to Kroger this morning and get some soup and crackers for it. I plugged it in around 10 (got a late start), but by 11:30 it was piping hot - almost too hot. On the reviews some people said they had to turn it off to let it cool for a half hour before eating. I can easily see that.

Pro's - it's cute (I got the pink one) and sits on my desk behind my monitor. I turned it so I could see the on light to remind me to unplug it. The size is actually pretty good for a lunch (which was my major concern that it would be too small)

Con's - you eat in the crock-pot, so the handle and the cord are a bit annoying. You can't wind the cord because the plug hooks in under it and the crock has food in it! If you do take the liner out to eat it cools off very quickly because it's very thin metal.

It also has this weird plastic lid you put on. It's not tight enough to prevent spilling, and it pops off (it's supposed to) when cooking. If it didn't, it might be very awkward to remove when the food was hot because it sits in the insert, not around the rim like most lids.

I'll withhold my review on their site till I try something like leftover spaghetti in it. I'm a little worried that anything not of soup/chili consistency might burn and make it hard to clean the insert. Time will tell.
