I bought a whole chicken the other day. I'll be using
that Persian Butter recipe for it two Sundays from now.

Bethie, I'm interested in your Saudi Samboosak. I'm seeing in my mind the folded and sealed piece but I'm not figuring out how to twist the finish edge

I saw that photo (I Googled before asking  ) and I guess that you just pinch it then? The photo makes them look so nice but it also looks like mighty fine pinching though. I suspect that just sealing it would fine but I would like it to be pretty too if I can do it with my hoof like fingers

wooo woooo! i think just sealing them WELL regardless of whether you pinch, pull, roll or twist is sufficient.
 a recipe for turkey soup with lemon landed in my inbox. i don't have any lemons at the moment so I am going to sub PRESERVED LEMONS!! I hope it's good because I'm making a lot. Can i rename it Turkish turkey soup??
