16 ounces canned pumpkin
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
4 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 1/2 cups flour
1 cup enriched corn meal
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Beat together pumpkin, sugars, eggs and oil. Combine dry ingredients and add t o pumpkin mixture; alternating with sour cream and water, mixing well after eac h addition. Stir in raisins and pecans.
Pour into two well greased 9 x 5 loaf pans. Bake in preheated 350 oven about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes and remove from pans. If using small loaf pans bake 40 to 45 minutes

I sure miss the MasterCook for Mac I used to use on my old dinosaur computer, but the newer Macs don't support it. I loved the formatting they used. I still have hundreds of files from it, saved as text, that I can use to print the recipes, but I can't do any of the editing stuff. Progress, phooey!
