I just had a great birthday dinner last night. In spite of having a rough day cooking. . . I actually managed to burn water!! I had some water in a pan to steam some carrots, and it evaporated and I assume some carrot juices burned the entire pan. I still can't believe it! Then I ended up burning the popovers. But I managed to regroup and made another batch of popovers in a casserole pan like yorshire pudding. I didn't post a picture on the recipe since it wasn't in 'true' form.

Thanks ladies for a great meal!

Had a heavy lunch so I made Sausage Rolls #429522 by threeovens for dinner. I'm going to have to make it again with the puff pastry or bread dough, the pie dough was too thick and stiff. Maybe my fault, but I can see where these would be amazing with the optional puff pastry. Thanks threeovens, I can see me making these often.
