Just one thing though we don't get French-fried onions here but I found a recipe on site French Fried Onions 441155 to make them but my query is in cups how much would 1 x 2 7/8 ounce can of French-fried onions be so I have an idea of how much I need to make!

I'mPat is IT and HERE ARE MY RECIPES.

I would hate to tell you change someone’s recipe, but think potato chips with just a smidgen of onion powder would work.

wave.gif Pat, the french fried onion rings diner used are these http://www.frenchs.com/products/french-fried-onions they are crunchy like potato chips. My best guess knowing what a small can looks like is that it is about two cups.
    Hope this helps some icon_wink.gif

Wondering if potatoe chips/crisps would be a good sub then ? I had googled to see what they looked like and as far as I know this or similar product is not sold in our area.

Actually we have an onion and sour cream flavoured chip/crisp on the market which may do.
